I started working as an intern. The biggest advantage of this programme is that when I officially joined the company, I had already laid a good foundation for my career. I didn’t need to worry about being unfamiliar with the tasks assigned or facing new colleagues. On the other hand, this programme provided me with multi-faceted training that focused on practice and practical work experience. Whether I am receiving guests at the front desk or providing support in the office, I have benefited a lot from these two aspects of work. This job has made me more mature in the way I deal with people and things. Elaine Leung 08 Innovative and Diversified Strategy –Cultivating Diverse Talent

10 I think the most valuable part of this training programme is that it allows participants to learn the operations of a large hotel resort in a short period of time. This programme gives participants the opportunity to be promoted to junior management positions in a short period of time. Compared with other positions, this allows me to grow faster. As such, I became more devoted to my work and I learned skills in managing and leading a team, as well as deepening communication with colleagues in different departments. My enthusiasm for work also enhances in addition to having my competency improved, thereby making greater contributions to the company. The happiest thing is that I am able to learn how to become a qualified front desk supervisor through different trainings and improve my personal leadership skills. These skills are very important in work and life. The company has given me the greatest support and provided me with different training and practical opportunities, making me more proficient and confident at my daily work.
